Capital Region
The new spirit of regional cooperation is making a difference. The province provided a firm hand when needed, and the capital region now has coordinated plans for growth, transit, housing, and mapping. I now serve on the transit and GIS (mapping) committees of the Capital Region Board. Cooperation is critical to delivering services and infrastructure more efficiently and effectively, and cost-sharing of regional projects will provide relief to our city and restore some fairness in the region.
