As the lead on council’s environment initiative, I’ve supported innovative projects like a biofuel facility that will turn trash into energy and reduce the cost of landfilling. But while Edmonton is a leader in waste management and other areas, our environmental footprint continues to grow. This continued sprawl cannot be sustained.
