2013 Donor Disclosure – Broad Support From Across Our City

As I promised when I posted my donor disclosure in September, and as I did in the last election, I’m disclosing all donations of over $100 prior to tomorrow’s vote. Our campaign is no longer accepting donations.

Our donors represent a broad cross-section of 962 individuals, businesses, and organizations that made contributions to my campaign, for a total of $612,594.47. Since our disclosure on September 24th  — less than a month ago — we’ve added over 500 names to our donor list. These donations come from every sector, region, and community in Edmonton — a level of support that has humbled and inspired me throughout the campaign.

As I have said several times, disclosing these donations prior to the vote is a matter of principle and transparency for me (see herehere, and here for my thoughts on this issue and here and here for my previous disclosures). Throughout this election, we as candidates have the opportunity to talk about who we are and what our vision is and what our plans are, but it’s important to me that you also know who funded this campaign before you cast your vote for me.

Posted here is a list of 447 donors who have contributed more than $100 (cash or in-kind). A further 515 donors of $100 or less make up the remainder.
